Joined the Fray at the First Kitasato Researchers Summit!

On March 1st, the Kitasato University Sagamihara Campus hosted the very first Kitasato Researchers Summit, a pioneering initiative for our university!
As a comprehensive university specializing in life sciences, Kitasato University boasts a wide array of faculties including Veterinary Medicine, Pharmacy, Medicine, Marine Life Science, Nursing, Science, Health Sciences, Future Engineering, Health Sciences, General Education, and the Osamu Shimomura Research Institute.
The Kitasato Researchers Summit was held to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and promote joint research across different fields. The event was packed with activities, including oral presentations by one representative from each faculty in the morning, followed by poster presentations by researchers in the afternoon, and group discussions aimed at furthering the development of Kitasato University.
In a proud moment for the Veterinary Medicine faculty, Lecturer Takeda from the Toxicology Lab represented us with an oral presentation!
In his presentation, he not only introduced the Veterinary Medicine department but also showcased the fulfilling life in Towada City to the entire university.
He has also received numerous requests for collaborative research on drug target protein discovery through Binding Proteomics analysis, which are currently underway.
