Practical Class of Toxicology 2024

In the Toxicology Practicum for third-year veterinary students, we focus on essential safety tests required in the research and development of pharmaceuticals and pesticides.

Due to the need to ensure safety across all organs and systems, many veterinary school graduates work as safety researchers.

A key feature of our toxicology practicum is that it includes tests actually conducted in safety research jobs, such as genotoxicity tests, which help students acquire the research skills demanded in real-world settings.

This year, Moyu Miyamae, who has recently progressed to the doctoral program in our lab, has joined as a Teaching Assistant and is actively involved in undergraduate instruction.
