Fifth-year students Misaki Fukumatsu and Wakana Yoshimura have won the Excellent Presentation Award at the Japanese Veterinary Medical Association!

At the 167th Japanese Veterinary Medical Association Academic Meeting held at Obihiro University of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine from September 10th (Tuesday) to 13th (Friday), 2024, two fifth-year students from our lab won Excellent Presentation Awards for their oral presentations.
Wildlife Science Division Excellent Presentation Award: Misaki Fukumatsu for her work on "Predicting the Dynamics of Anticoagulant Rodenticides in Wildlife Using Partial Differential Equation Modeling."
Japanese Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology Association Excellent Presentation Award: Wakana Yoshimura for her study on "Evaluating the Testicular Toxicity of Mice from Mixed Exposure to Nine Types of Perfluoroalkyl Substances (PFASs) at Everyday Intake Levels."
The awards were determined and announced post-conference, so we celebrated and took photos back at the lab.
Both students achieved this during their first-ever academic presentations as fifth-year undergraduates, which is quite impressive!
Stay tuned for their future research achievements.
