Invited Lecutuer at GastroPlus® Users Meeting 2023

At the 2023 GastroPlus® User Meeting, Lecturer Takeda gave an invited lecture titled "Evaluation of Strain Differences in Four Rat Strains for the Anticoagulant Rodenticide Diphacinone Using PK/PD Analysis and PBPK Modeling."
GastroPlus® allows for the creation of dynamic pharmacokinetic models under various conditions by setting parameters for intestinal absorption and liver metabolism (Physiology-Based Pharmacokinetics, PBPK analysis). In his lecture, Takeda discussed how this was applied not just to laboratory rats but also to wild black rats and even rodenticide-resistant wild black rats, presenting a case where PBPK analysis of rodenticides was conducted in non-model animals.
We published a research article related to the lecture.
