our 6th-year veterinary student Misaki Fukamatsu received the Student Poster Presentation Award! 🎉

Award-Winning Presentation

“Exploring Rodenticidal Effect and Toxicity Mechanisms of Dcha-20, a Novel Vitamin D Receptor Agonist with a Lithocholic Acid Backbone”

This research focuses on:

• Dcha-20, a novel compound with a lithocholic acid backbone,

• Its activity as a vitamin D receptor (VDR) agonist, and

• Investigating its rodenticidal potential and underlying toxicity mechanisms.

The study employs a multi-faceted approach, including:

• Molecular docking-based target prediction, and

• Toxicity evaluation using animal models,
  aiming to contribute to the development of environmentally friendly rodenticides.
