Students and Dr. Takeda participated in the U.S. & Australia summer training program.

Every summer, the Kitasato University School of Veterinary Medicine sends fifth-year students to the USA (University of Tennessee and Purdue University) and Australia (Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary Wildlife Hospital) for overseas clinical training.
This year, from our lab, Misaki Fukamatsu participated in clinical training at Purdue University, and Yuka Nakamura joined the training at the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. Additionally, Lecturer Takeda accompanied the students as the supervising faculty to the University of Tennessee, completing all three training destinations for the Toxicology Lab.
Australia Summer Training feat. Yuka Nakamura It seems she got to experience both clinical training and fieldwork with wildlife.
Purdue University Summer Training feat. Misaki Fukamatsu She spent her days in a rigorous clinical training schedule, refueling with hearty American meals.
At the University of Tennessee, Lecturer Takeda was apparently always on cooking duty.
You can view the summer internship reports and presentation slides on the faculty website. Enjoy the excellent work done by our students!
